Sewing on

The first clue in the Orca Bay Mystery quilt came out the Friday before last and it was 224 hourglass units in 2.5 inches. That means cutting 4 x 224 triangles and sewing them together, oh my that is a lot of triangles. Well it wasn't so bad when I found out how to use the companion ruler and layer the fabric so it was easier to sew it afterwards. So all weekend and last week I sewed these little darlings and 2 Christmas stockings and 3 tea wallets. Yes I know I can't really just have one thing to sew at a time, can I.

Here they are so beautiful and finished

Congratulations on getting all those little blocks finished up. I love the way you have them arranges. Makes me want to design a quilt that looks like that.

WOO HOO! I live by that saying in your blog header, I just started the mystery finally last night, gotta a lot of sewing to catch up on, just wanted to stop by a few other blogs to see what everyone is up to as well. I can't only work on one project at a time either!
